Her habits: The cow is a gentle animal. She loves her calf very much. Children often play near her. She likes to graze in the open field. She does not sit in muddy places.
Her usefulness for mankind : The cow is an important and useful animal. Her milk is very useful to babies, sick persons and old people. Her calves are very useful to us. They plough our fields and draw the heavy loaded carts. The cow dung is also very useful. It is used as fuel. Her dead body also is very useful to us.. Shoes are made from her skin. Buttons and combs are made from her hoofs and horns. The Hindus call her ‘Gau Mata’. They worship her, respect her and love her.
